Hand pallet trucks are non-powered devices designed to increase the pelletized load; usually weighs 3, 50000 kg. They are easy in their operation by slipping their operator into the lattice, pumping the handle to lift the fork off the ground, and moving the load through the handle. The front wheels fit the end of the fork, and as the hydraulic jack is lifted, the fork is also logically separated from the front wheels, pushing the load upwards until it clears the floor. The palette is just enough to clean the floor for the next trip.

Different types of hand pallet trucks are available at equip2go:

  • Low profile
  • Fold
  • All terrain
  • Wide front
  • Narrow face
  • Stainless steel forged
  • Long fork
  • Small fork
Powered pallet truck
The powered pallet truck operates on the same principle as the hand pallet truck. The load operator slides the fork into the lattice to allow the load bearing. However, on a powered pallet truck, the lifting of the load and the speed of the truck are driven by an electric motor inside the machine.

Typically, there is a Dele Pedal 'control to choose the direction of the front or rear, and a button control to raise or lower the fork. Like all electrically powered trucks, batteries also need to be charged inside. Most often, with a powered pellet truck, the truck has an integral charger which means it can be plugged directly into the mains without the need for a single charger. Know more about pallet truck.
